Welcome to our online store! Cross Stitch World, have a simple and cost effective method of calculating your freight fees. Here is some information about how this is done.

SHIPPING FEES
Our online system will calculate your shipping fees at the checkout. This is based on the weight and/or volume of your purchase and your destination address.

DELIVERY TIME
Most orders will be shipped the same day if stock is available for orders before midday, provided payments have been cleared. Otherwise 1 - 2 working days from the order / payment date. Cross Stitch World will keep you informed by phone or email if we cannot deliver for any reason.

DELIVERY WEIGHT
Single Items that weigh in excess of 20 kg may take more time for shipping.

SHIPPING METHODS
Your Cross Stitch World order can be delivered using the following delivery methods. For more information on these services please consult the Australia Post website.

Australia Post - Parcel Post - Orders up to 20 kg
Parcel Post will deliver your order as quickly as possible depending on your location - A maximum of 2 to 7 days delivery time is allocated, with deliveries to country or remote locations taking longer then deliveries to capital cities and the East Coast.

Australia Post - Express Post - Orders up to 20 kg
Express Post will deliver your order the next business day over specified routes within the Express Post domestic network. Prompt delivery on a non-guaranteed basis is given for other areas not in the Express Post network.

Flat Rate Parcels - Orders for Computers and Systems or Large Orders
This method a shipping uses a nominal fee. We arrange the Best Way for you based on your location and the goods ordered. These orders will be delivered to you via a courier of our discretion. This will usually be arranged for goods of 20kg in weight or more. Please Note Computers and System will usually take up to 5 days before shipping as they are assembled individually to your requirements and then burnt in, to ensure all is working properly before you receive it.

SHIPPING INSURANCE
Please note that Australia Post insures goods up to $5000.00 only if delivered by Parcel Post (Not Express Post), we cannot send goods without insurance due to the high risk involved. All goods above A$100.00 will be insured at 1% for every $100 or part thereof.

RETURNS AND WARRANTY

RETURNS
Goods returned for credit must be returned within 14 days of purchase in original packing and with proof of purchase. Please advise us prior to returning goods. Shipping fees both to and from will be borne by customer.
You will be issued with a credit for 85% of the value of the goods (you are not refunded postage). The credit will be the lower of the price you paid for the goods or the current selling price.

WARRANTY
If any goods are faulty we request that in the first instance you contact the manufacturer of the goods who will normally replace or repair the item for you. If you are unsuccessful, contact us on 1300 131 638 and ask for a return authority. We will then pass the goods onto our supplier who will repair or replace them. You are responsible for costs in getting the item to us, we will (within Australia and up to the amount of $15) return the goods to you when they are repaired / replaced. Please advise us prior to returning goods, and include proof of purchase.
Where a warranty is for more than 12 months or where a warranty is onsite, we only provide for the first 12 months of the warranty on a return to base basis. Where a warranty period is not stated, it is 12 months return to base (RTB).
